Contact the UN Treaty Bodies to move forward with a joint statement on youth.
Organise a lobby mission with Member Organisations targeting Permanent Missions, to lobby for follow-up of youth rights and mainstreaming of youth in the work of the Human Rights Council (linked with 7.11)
Coordinate/support Member Organisations in advocating for the implementation of the Council of Europe Council of Ministers Recommentation (e.g. providing communications templates). This will be followed-up in 2018 with a focus on monitoring the implementation.
Provide Youth Forum Board Members, Member Organisations and Secretariat with training on the rights-based approach.
Increased awareness of Member Organisations and partner NGOs of Collective Complaint process as well as the European Youth Forum’s Collective Complaint.

An increasing number of Permanent Missions in Geneva supporting the European Youth Forum’s recommendations on youth rights.
Based on an effective roadmap for the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers Recommendation on Young People’s Access to Rights, the Youth Forum successfully started advocating together with its members towards national governments (e.g. with Ministries of Foreign Affairs) for the implementation of the Recommendation.
Increased understanding of the rights-based approach among Member Organisations, Board and Secretariat.
