WHO?
101 Member organisations: either National Youth Councils or International Non Governmental Youth Organisations, representing millions of young people and 39 European countries.
There are three types of membership status: Full, Candidate and Observer members.
WHAT DO THEY DO?
Member organisations are the democratic basis of the European Youth Forum. They have the highest decision-making powers and have, among others, the following functions: adopting the policy guidelines of the Forum including the Work Plan and Strategic Priorities, accepting new members, adopting Statutes and Rules of Procedure, adopting the budget, electing the Board and other elected positions.
WHEN DO THEY MEET?
Member organisations meet at least twice a year for the Council of Members. Every two years, they meet for the General Assembly, where they elect the Board, adopt the Work Plan and the Strategic Priorities.
Member organisations also interact outside these statutory meetings via ad hoc networks and expert groups.
