The Red Cross EU Office represents 29 Red Cross National Societies of the European Union and Norway, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). The Office coordinates relations and communications between its Members and the EU institutions.
The activities concentrate on Social Inclusion, Asylum & Migration, International Development Aid and Disaster Management (Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid). The Red Cross EU Office core mandate includes information capturing and sharing, advocacy and positioning, coordination and fund-raising.
